O’NEILL – Two technology-related classes will be held later this month at Northeast Community College in O’Neill.
Programs, and Files and Printing…Oh My! (Basic Computers II) (INFO 0102 & CRN #70145) will be held Mondays, February 24 and March 3, from 7-9 p.m. in Room 105 at the Northeast Community College Extended Campus in O’Neill.
Participants in this class will expand their knowledge of computer basics. Instructor Dustin Barton will show students how tomanage files, locate and open programs, the basics of Microsoft Word, and how to add a printer and print documents inside Windows.
Cost of the class is $25.
Tablet Applications for Personal Productivity (INFO 0285 & CRN #70147) will meet Wednesday, February 26, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in Room 301 in the same location.
Whether you have an iPad, Kindle Fire, or another type of tablet — or perhaps you are thinking about getting one – you have probably considered the various ways the device can make your life a little more fun. While these devices are good for reading books, playing games or watching movies, they are great for organizing your life.
Instructor Nicole Sedlacek will discuss the newest, most popular productivity apps for tablets. Students are asked to bring their device, user id, and password to class.
