NORFOLK – Northeast Community College’s Jabbar Washington hit two clutch free throws with 7.2 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 97, while North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) got a shot off that fell short to send Wednesday’s contest into overtime.

The Hawks outscored NDSCS 11-7 in OT to go on to pick up its first win of the season, 108-104 at the Cox Activities Center here. It was an exciting game that saw Northeast down 18 at halftime, but the Hawks clawed their way back into the game.
