NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College volleyball team fell to Central Community College-Columbus in straight sets Thursday night. The scores were 25-20, 25-18, and 25-13.
Brittany Sullivan led the Hawks with ten kills followed by Nazya Thies with 16 digs and Maggie Earney’s 27 assists. Thies and Kirsten Fink each recorded one ace serve while Grace Ecklund had two solo and one blocked shots.
Northeast falls to 14-19.
The Hawks will take on Southeast Community College Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk.
