The Sioux City Night Patrol keeps Northeast students safe on campus 365 days a year. Campus security has uniformed officers patrolling regularly and a hotline set up twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Duties of the officers include securing buildings, escorting students, issuing traffic and parking citations, and providing crowd control. The Night Patrol officers aren’t just muscle either, they have to provide daily reports which can comprise of theft, vandalism, disturbance, and incident accounts. To ensure students safety, there is never only one officer on duty and their shifts are usually eight to twelve hours long.
