Once finals are done, what’s a better way to relieve stress then to go see a movie? Lucky for you, this holiday season has a movie for everyone.

Playing for Keeps stars Gerard Butler as an ex-soccer pro that agrees to coach his son’s soccer team in attempts to win back his ex-wife. While resisting a bleacher full of soccer mom’s and trying to be the best dad and coach for his son, hilarity ensues on and off the field. Playing for Keeps premieres on December 7th.

For Sci-Fi lovers everywhere, this next movie is for you. The long awaited prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy is finally here. Starting December 14th, you can watch Bilbo Baggins on the adventure that started it all in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

On December 19th, Disney will be re-releasing another movie in 3-D. This time it’s Monsters, Inc. Eleven years after it was first released, a new generation can experience the world of Monstropolis. And just in time too, the sequel, Monsters University, will be released June 2013.

Adapted for Lee Child’s novel, Tom Cruise is Jack Reacher. Reacher is an ex-military homicide investigator searching for the truth in murder case. This movie is full of drama, suspense and action. Jack Reacher premieres on December 21st.

Les Miserables is an adaptation from the Broadway musical. The story is set in 19th-century France during the revolution and centers around broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption. The lives of ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, factory worker Fatine and her young daughter, Cosette change forever in this musical premiering on Christmas Day.
