Since the advent of the internet, information spreads faster than ever before. With websites like Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter, ideas can circle the earth within a few seconds. But can this be a good thing or a bad thing. It all depends on what side of the argument you are on.

For some people, especially small businesses that are starting out, to get the word out about what they are doing. But for other people it can be used against people to hurt them. One good aspect of the internet, but at the same time bad, about the internet is that you can post something and then hundreds of people can see it. For activists and entrepenuers, this is a great way to exxpand their consumer base. now more than ever, people haave more accesss to information than ever before, but not a lot of people access that information. in the same way that it can help a small business grow exponentially, it fcan also be used to tear people down and make them feel really bad about themselves.

Online bullying has become a big problem lately in America. According to the Hartford County Examiner, around half of teens have been victims of cyber bullying. Unfortunately, only one out of five of these are reported to law enforcement.  Hacking collectives suh as Anonymous and Lulzsec are another debatable topic when it coms to the internet. They portray themselves as liberators of the internet. They hack  people that they feel thave wronged the people and use information they retrieve, against them. Some people see them as hereoes for standing up for the common person, but others see them as terrorists.

The internet can be very helpful when looking for information when working on something but it can be a very bad thing when used the wrong way. In the the end, it all depends on what you do on the internet, whether
