Shooting in Norfolk leaves one in critical condition

A shooting which took place in Norfolk Tuesday at around  12:15 p.m.left one person in critical condition. Edna Gutierrez, 33, also known as Edna Little Elk was shot at 706 South 3rd Street, in Norfolk, NE. The suspect of the crime is 34 year old Carlos Alfredo Arevalo-Martinez. Gutierrez was shot in the head by the suspect. By the time police arrived, they found  Gutierrez bleeding on the kitchen floor, says police chief Mizner. Shortly after the police blocked 3rd Street south of Pasewalk. No one has yet been charged with anything regarding the shooting. As of right now there is no known motive for the attack.  Arevalo-Martinez, the person of interest is nowhere to be found. The subject is of Hispanic background. He is five foot seven inches (5’7″) tall and weighs about 130 pounds.
