Northeast Community College students came back to campus to a brand new residence and dining hall. The $19 million facility was completed over the summer. The new dining hall can accommodate more than 450 students. Several stations were added to get more students through in a shorter amount of time. Among the new additions is the grill. Students can see their food being prepared right in front of their eyes.

Food service staff were given two days to move in and serve. Toni Williamson, food service director, said, “It was very stressful, but we got it. And we succeeded… Everyone at Northeast was fantastic to work with.”

Here are the hours for the Hawks Point Dining Hall located in Path Hall.

Hawks Point Hours:

Breakfast Mon-Fri 6:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Omelets served Mon-Fri 7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Lunch Mon-Fri 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Supper Mon-Thur 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Supper Fri 5 p.m. – 6:30pm

Saturday and Sunday

Brunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Supper 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
